My entry for Shonen Jump's 2009 Cover Contest.

Now don't get confused, the winner doesn't actually get their artwork on the cover, neither do you have to draw anything that literally looks like a cover. It just has to look good and meet SJ's specifications.

It was a bummer trying to figure out the rules for this contest. In the end, I had to send off my original because of a confusion about whether photocopies were ok or not. I sent along a letter as well, and the results will be announced in November. I hope they treat it nicely.
